De Everest Dine - Sutton Coldfield

I called and ordered steamed lamb MoMo from this restaurant. I was disappointed to find out that they only accept cash, which is inconvenient in today's day and age. The MoMo was average, but the sauce was overly sweet, reminiscent of the sweet sauce you typically get with Peshawari naan. It didn't taste authentic Nepalese, more like something you would find at an Indian restaurant. The service was mediocre and the atmosphere was just okay. Overall, it was an okay experience for a takeout dinner, with prices ranging from £1-£10 per person. Food: 3/5, Service: 2/5, Atmosphere: 2/5.

I ordered the chicken dupiaza curry and found it to be overly sweet and sickly. I couldn't finish it, which is rare for someone who enjoys food as much as I do. I also tried some of my partner's curry and had a similar experience. However, the restaurant had a nice decor and the staff were friendly.
