When we arrived late, we decided to let the owner choose our dishes. Despite my initial reservations, I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the ingredients in our meals, each bite was delicious and diverse. The grilled aubergines were a standout, even for someone who doesn't typically enjoy them, and the seitan was exceptionally tender. For appetizers, we enjoyed a light pea soup, and for dessert, a cheesecake ice cream and a purin, a Japanese version of crème caramel that was particularly tasty in its recreation of the creamy original. The café also sells sable biscuits, which are highly recommended, so be sure to purchase one before you leave!
The curry set plate was very good, it was tasty, healthy and filling. I also had a nut and raisin muffin which was also excellent, beautiful consistency and not excessively sweet. The set plate and the muffin cost me a little under 1400yen which is very reasonable for japan. All in all Some of the best vegan food I've had in japan so far, if you are anywhere near this place I would highly recommend popping in
I really enjoyed this restaurant. If you are hiking the Shikoku 88 Pilgrimage, I highly recommend making a stop here. The lunch sets are priced at 1000¥, with generous portions and delicious flavors. The desserts are also fantastic. This restaurant serves oriental vegan cuisine, with no garlic or root vegetables used in the dishes.
The café owner is very kind and offers a lunch plate menu that changes weekly. The food is delicious and made with about 90% locally grown, organic ingredients. After our first visit, we went back the next day and agreed that it was some of the best food we had in Shikoku. If you are in or near Takamatsu, it is worth the effort to visit this café and maybe drive up to the top of Yashima mountain nearby. If you don't speak Japanese or can't read the menu, I recommend ordering the lunch set or a dessert if you're not too hungry. As long as it's not too busy, you should be able to order lunch before 4pm.

I highly recommend this place if you are in the area.
