King's Yard - Takamatsu

The woman who owns this place rents a room over the restaurant, which is the only way I knew. She spent a decade in Jamaica and really brought back this island of Vibe. She also brought back some delicious food, and the Ruck Chicken was incredible. Very recommended to check out this place. It (and the owner) is a jewel!

Felt silly go for Jamaican food instead of trying some sinceo seafood, but this place justifies its excellent reviews. Great home made hot sauces to go along with wonderful dishes not generally seen. In any case worth jumping in.

Nice, small place for unique Jamaican food. We got the Fried Okra and Jerk Chicken! English friendly and lots of unique flavors. Food is different but worth a try. We did have to wait a while for food, mostly because it was just one person (assume the owner) serving, cooking, and bar tending.

This is my favourite restaurant for non Japanese food in all of Japan. The food is exceptionally fresh and tasty, the portions are filling, and the price is right. Perfect when you’re looking for a healthy choice. Not to mention the homemade hot sauce that is the perfect balance of sweet and heat! Best part is the atmosphere that is created by the friendly owner who really knows her stuff about Jamaican cooking. Vibes are chill, music is fun, can’t say enough positive things just eat here! You won’t regret it.
