Coco Vida Bar & Restaurant - Taiwala

Once had a lunch here . It was a good one , but too expencive comparing with the other restaurants around.

Cenamos un par de noches aquí, tienen la típica barbacoa filipina y una carta amplia de otras cosas. Precio medio pero la comida rica, el personal amable, con el mar al ladito y ambientazo con el grupo de música en directo. Nos gustó mucho!

It's the bar from the Alona Vida resort. The food is very good (I've eaten all meals there) and the staff super-friendly. At night the band is really good and I also recommend the drinks as well.

We had a couple of nightcaps here and enjoyed the live music. The drinks were nice and cold and the band were playing classic rock tunes. We can not comment on food as we didn't eat here. Toilets were clean.

Although the staff here are very friendly, tgey seem to be more concerned with chatting to each other rather than serving customers. I've had to wait several times while they had private conversations. The food, while not bad, definitely doesn't stand out. Their bbq meat was quite nice, although the vegetables they served it with were very ordinary and tepid at best. Many of their meals do not come with rice as standard so they charge you extra for it. Don't have the fried rice as it's probably the worst I've ever tried and as I've travelled around quite a bit of SE Asia, I've tried a lot
