Gyoza was our favorite farmer we had here. Beautiful atmosphere and decoration and outdoor seating with lake view in the summer months. Recommended.
Delicious food in an intimate dining room. Started with a delicious pear “Elevation” martini coupled with ahi tuna cone (wasabi cream in the top). Yum. Up with gyoza starter with a ginger sauce. My main was a Thai seafood stew in a coconut milk. Mild spicy and delicious. Dessert was a chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and Meringue. Very attentive and friendly service. Come on Sunset for Mountain View!
Everything at Wolfdale was very well done. For appetizers, my husband and I have the tuna Poke bowls, oysters, potato soup. For Entrees he got the Venison Stationerloin with berry sauce, smoked sausage and braided red cabbage and I got the Thai seafood stew. And we have Brussels shoots as a side and the lemon mousse for dessert. The standouts were the ducks. The stew was delightful with perfectly garden shrimps and scallops in a coconut milk-forward Thai curry base. I loved adding spinach, mushrooms, edamame, and plucked cucumber when combined with forbidden rice made this dish warm, comforting, but interesting. The Venison of my husband was perfectly cooked, the berries sauce had strong berries taste and complemented the meat beautifully. The sausages were delightful. We look at food and this meal was a rare treat where everything was balanced, interesting and tasty. Service was careful; finished dishes were immediately removed, water crust was immediately refilled. The restaurant also needs masks for admission (as of February 2022). I would recommend this restaurant for friends and family!
We stayed a week in Lake Tahoe and enjoy all the restaurants in the area. We clearly agree that today's meal in Wolfdales was exceptional. It is a must when you visit Lake Tahoe. We started with the Ahi Poke Cones (OMG), next to the Ahi
Everything we had here was absolutely amazing. The menu is full of super creative Japanese inspired dishes. The poke cones, crab tempura, truffle fries, miso cod, filet mignon, lemon tart, and chocolate moose were all Devine. The service was fantastic as well we came to celebrate our first anniversary and the entire staff made us feel so welcome. Our waitress was knowledgeable, had great recommendations, and provided prompt service. I highly recommend dinner here for anyone looking for delicious and unique food (and a great night out).
