Tahoe Tap Haus - Tahoe City

I ordered the chicken soup which was $7 for a small bowl and was disappointed to find only one piece of chicken in it.

During the summer, my family and I stumbled upon this restaurant in the area and decided to grab a meal. Our overall experience was pleasant, with the exception of a rude and unprofessional employee at the end. We were warmly greeted by a kind and respectful blonde lady who took our order and suggested delicious drinks and meals for our family as it was our first visit. The food was exceptional and delicious. However, when it was time to leave and I asked for boxes and drink refills from a young woman with black hair and tan skin, she ignored me in favor of other customers. It wasn't until another person pointed out my presence that she finally acknowledged me, although her manner was unprofessional and uncalled for. Despite this negative encounter, our family truly enjoyed our experience at this restaurant and highly recommend the food and service (excluding this particular employee).

Upon entering the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by two friendly staff members (a man and a woman). Off to a good start! My husband, who is a wing aficionado but particular about sauces, was allowed to sample all the options before ordering. He thoroughly enjoyed them. I opted for the Pastrami sandwich and, considering myself a connoisseur, I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. We sat outside with our dog, enjoying the lovely view of the lake across the street.

Got the BLAT and loved every minute of it! Second time here and everyone loved their meal. Grilled chicken was phenomenal.

Had never been to Tahoe City before, and the Tap Haus was in walking distance to our hotel. The lady I came with was talking up the burgers from the pictures on the menu. You order from the bar and they bring the food to your table. We both got burgers and the waffle fries. The burgers we amazing, big and juicy and the waffle fries did not disappoint either. Special mention to the the drinks from the bar, my Manhattan was great, my lady sampled some dark beer, both were great. Definitely requires a return visit next time. I am here.
