Tahoe City Sushi

Fresh made and with some interesting twists, a whole page of vegan / vegetarian options

Great sushi here! I was so glad to find a place close to carnelian bay that not only serves vegan options but sushi! I shared the Futo-Maki, bahama-Mama and burning man roles (without cream cheese) with my partner. the burning man roles were my favorites, I loved the light sharp kick to them. that was not bad (approx. 30min,) considering that we are just up and ordered, and you can also walk on the lake while you wait.

Okay, so it was wonderful to see a whole page dedicated to Vegetarian/Vegan, which made the choice super easy. the rolls were in order (we had en maki and I dream of jean,) but nothing to rave. Given the lack of vegan eating in tahoe, it is great to have this place as an option. we sat at the back of the balcony and had a beautiful view of the tahoesee. parking was also available around the book.

We would have tried more offers, but they had only one cook on the staff when we arrived and got to over 45 meals. my advice is the first check to see if two cooks work. the place is small. we ordered a great roll (at least 30 min) suppe and endamame.
