Mirada - Tahoe City

Absolutely the worst excuse for Mexican food we've ever tasted. it was described as food, prepared elsewhere, frozen, sent here and reheated several times. dry fajitas, both chicken and bark meat. I wanted to get a split order, but they refused. enchiladas were buried under a mysterious, incredible Bland sauce. the queso fundido was simply added with nothing, white cheese melted. at least the quacamole was decent as the service. should have known better if we arrived on a Friday night in the last minute.

Eating was okay, not great. could add tears or bores to Taco plates and guacamole had not much taste. views are very nice and great service.

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, but the portion sizes are quite small, and there aren't many options available on the menu.

The service and the atmosphere were quite great. we had a window seat so we had to look over the water while we heard a live music. all that was great. but let us eat something disappointed. the steak in our tacos was bad for the price (we drove in gristle) and the road mais trimmed. was not streetmais. they had shaved the mais from the goat and placed in a bowl over a kind of koleslaw. we had not hoped at all. it feels like they're content, but some things are actually best left alone. I also wish they had a chicken option for the tacos, and if they then, I think I didn't choose them because the beats were strange. I know that's why I didn't choose the fishtacos. I think they decided to date the fish tacos with coleslaw, which is a bit strange to me, but I also don't get fish tacos so often, maybe that's normal. her green salsa was also strange. too tasty and tasted nothing like the green salsa that would normally be obtained for roads tacos. another disappointment. after dinner disappointments, we didn't even consider getting dessert because we didn't want to be disappointed again (my friend loves churros too). if they could improve the food, then this place would be great, but since it says I don't think I'll come back.

The fish tacos accompanied by margaritas were fantastic. The service was excellent, and the guitarist provided pleasant background music.
