The place we tried the last time we were in the area was closed, Monday must have been her free day. So we were looking for a spare place to enjoy our cake. We searched Google and this place looked like a great choice and we dared out. What a surprise was waiting for us. The restaurant is very small and basically used for takeout. There are 4 high stool tables on the terrace outside along with 2 tables on the side of the building. But if you have decided to dine in the restaurant, the best is to come and I don't even talk about pizza. The views from the River Truckee, which runs along the restaurant veranda, are spectacular. What a fantastic place to enjoy a pizza. And when the cake was ready, he was not disappointed. I love fine pizza and that was really a masterpiece! If you want to try different toppings on your pizza, you are for a good time. You have a huge table that is just filled with so many possibilities, it is hard to finally order. But whatever you decide, you will love your cake so much more. The pizzas look like pizza everywhere, but the best part is in the final test, food. And Front Street Pizza is a WINNER!! Try it out, you will not be disappointed that you will have your cake and look at the spectacular view.
The Mexican Food Pleasantly Surprised: The asada tacos and burritos were solid. Also had a large pizza, good flavor with a fair amount of toppings. More of a TO GO place since the indoor seating is sparse, and lots of mosquitoes outside on the patio (dinner time . Food prices are good/reasonable compared to other restaurants in Tahoe City. This is a busy place so plan accordingly. For what it is, definitely 5 stars, and we have been there several times.
Delicious pizza! Loved all of the options and we ordered nine different ones! Only downside was that I tried to order over the phone and was on hold for 15 minutes before getting disconnected. I ended up driving down and ordering in person and was surprised and impressed that nine pizzas were ready in 40 minutes on a Friday night!
We had the Jumbo Pizza slices and they were delicious!! Full taste, thin crust like NY Pizza and the service was also great!!! Thanks for a great lunch experience with river views, unpaid. The only thing I regret was no more discs.
Came here after river rafting with my girlfriend. The pizzas are expensive (between $25-30) but that’s to be expected from Lake Tahoe. They do by-the-slice as well, with prices ranging from $4.25-6 for a pretty large slice. After one slice I definitely felt satiated so that’s a good value in my book. The service was ok.
