Rice & Dough - Taguig

Light-filled, airy place in a new mall. Our group of 5 went for lunch, and we were seated and served promptly. Some of the dishes we liked; some we did NOT, like the quinoa salad. The flatbread pizza and steak were okay. Overall, a big improvement from the defunct Torch restaurant in Greenhills.

I'm not fun of eating raw food, but when I tasted Angus Mushroom Beef Tenders, I had my unforgettable gastronomical experience ever! The ambiance at Rice and Dough at GF Venice Grand Canal Mall is very well suited from casual to business meeting. Their service was great, the staff were friendly and professional. I just want to suggest though to have more choices for desserts. Overall , I will recommend this place to my friends and colleagues for them to experience what I had experience.

We've been here several times and loved every single meal we've ordered, especially the Angus steak that's being cooked in front of us. The only thing we don't like about this restaurant is the chef/cook who doesn't listen to special requests. I always request for the meat to be well done because it will take forever for the meat to cook, and I'm already hungry.

Food was great, accomodation was great.. staffs are friendly... ;) we really enjoyed the food, and the steak being cooked in front of us hi hi... will be back soon!

The restaurant gives a homey feeling, maybe because of the light and neutral colors they used. We visited around 6PM on a Friday, and we were the only customers during that time. Sushi, pizza and steaks plus other variety of mains and handful pastas are your choices. The mains are good for two persons, just as long as you are not really hungry. We had the "perfect catch" sushi, it feels like you are eating a takoyaki, but with a twist. We had the U.S. angus beef for our main entree, it was served in a flat stone with a burning flame underneath to have it slow cooked from medium rare to well done (depends how long you eat though hehe) the steak was good, and almost perfectly cooked. It come with risotto rice, which was really enticing. A bit buttery and creamy, a bit salty, perfrctly mixed to go with the steak.Staff were attentive, but it may be different when its packed. They serve cocktails and wine, and I think also beer.Next time, we might try their pizza and pasta.
