I chose medium. I got classic Tonkitsu. The special gets you an egg and seaweed and other toppings. Classic just the pork belly. Kids love their Ramen and they approve! We just came from Japan too.
Food is great though a bit pricey. Their chicken karaage is the best but they're Gyoza is just ok. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₱400–600 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Shiromaru Special Ramen, Chicken Karaage, Pickled Japanese Cucumber

Ippudo is always a hit. One of my favorite Ramen places and was super to find it here in Manila on a recent visit. Lunch service was prompt. Came in, sat down. had a beer and ramen was served. Ordered medium noodles and were delicious. The broth is rich and silky. Absolute heaven. For topping had the traditiobal chashu pork and the torched one. I was hungry ok? Funghi, green onion, egg. Yumm! This meal hit the spot so good that Im ready for my day. Thank you!!
Ever since Ippudo opened in the Philippines, it has become my standard when it comes to ramen, and they never disappoint. I'm glad that they now have a branch in BGC, and it's the most elegantly designed, by far. The same elegance can be observed in all their dishes, from appetizers to desserts. But most importantly, the signature broth of their Hakata style ramen is consistently good, no matter what ramen you get: shiromaru, akamaru, or karakamen. Personally, my favorite is the akamaru because it's good enough on its own, but at the same time, there is still room for some freshly crushed garlic or sesame seeds. Ippudo is also known for their ramen sidekicks, and my favorites would be their okonomiyaki, nanban karaage, and deep fried gyoza. All are perfect ramen partners, but I think the okonomiyaki is the best because of its chunky goodness that compliments their ramen's smooth, rich broth. : it is only after writing this review that I realized how forgetful I am I wasn't able to take pictures of my akamaru ramen and my friend's karakamen! Boo me!
