Frank & Dean - Taguig

The first time I visited this restaurant was because a friend wanted to try their Frappe. It was so good that we went back the next day. The lady who served us was very nice and even gave us a loyalty card. The service was excellent, and after a few more visits, they surprised me with a taste of their upcoming "The Frank Champion" Burger, which was delicious. The staff treated us well and made us feel at home. I highly recommend F&D to everyone, as the food is fantastic.

I had to wait for my rice bowl for almost thirty minutes, despite being checked on several times. The constant excuses and demands for a refund due to the lengthy wait were unacceptable. Overall, not a good experience.

My first visit to Frank x Dean was wonderful. My friend and I went there for brunch to catch up. We ordered their Smoothie Bowls – Strawberry (sour) and Mango (sweet) for PHP290 each. The consistency of the smoothie bowls was not as thick as I expected, but the taste was great. We also had Iced Cappuccinos for PHP160 each, with the option of adding simple syrup for sweetness. We tried the Paprika Fries for PHP190, which were so delicious that I ended up eating more fries than my smoothie bowl! The fries came with mayo and ketchup on the side, which made them even better. The atmosphere was pleasant, not too busy or noisy. The restaurant has a nice decor and plenty of seating. They also have a 'pub' upstairs that opens at around 5PM, serving drinks and snacks. The service was fast and efficient, with free and fast wifi available. The staff were friendly and attentive. I will definitely be visiting again!

Went here for a morning meeting coming straight from the airport. Grumpy from my flight I was immediately gratified by the attendant that welcomed me into the cafe. The coffee and breakfast were delicious but what made it special was the service. Look for Rod or Frank. They made my Grumpy morning into a a productive and cheerful breakfast meeting.

Manila has experienced a wave of new and unique coffee places in the past year and Frank and Dean has to be one of the best. The cafe is a great place to have your morning coffee before heading to work. I've preferred going here rather than my usual Starbucks simply because Ive grown tired of the cookie cutter experience of other coffee shops near by. Ive had their cafe mocha and love it.
