Creekside Oyster House Grill - Sylva

A perfect spot for our 10th anniversary while on vacation in the Smokies! We shared the lobster mac and each had trout in different ways! All the food that came by smelled amazing and our waitress was so pleasant! Will definitely come back when we make it back to the area.

We had an incredibly delightful dining experience here. I ordered the shrimp and grits with a side of hush puppies, and both were the best I've ever tasted. I dislike it when shrimp and grits are overly spicy, but that wasn't an issue at all— the gravy was perfect. The hush puppies were also outstanding; they were warm, crispy, and bursting with flavor, and I've had my fair share of hush puppies over the years. My husband also loved his fried oysters; he opted for the small appetizer portion and was very pleased with his choice.

So delicious! Stopped here on vacation and enjoyed every bite. Our server, Maddie, was so sweet and attentive. She gave us her personal recommendations. The trout almondine was AMAZING. We got the lobster mac cheese appetizer which was also very good. A little pricey but well worth it. We?re from Florida and particular about our seafood. We?d absolutely come back next time we?re in the area!

I have eaten all over the US and Europe but never have I experienced the type of service that Megan gave me tonight. She is incredible and really makes Creekside the best in Western NC. She quickly realized how low maintenance I was and quit asking me if I needed anything and when she walked by she just made sure to make eye contact and smile. Even gave me a mint that I know she bought herself for her customers. Delivered my check with the toothpick container, SERIOUSLY!

We were just passing through NC and wanted to get some seafood. The place has great reviews so we decided to try their food! It was a great disappointment when we tried the seafood combo! The food was not seasoned well and over cooked! The oysters did not taste nor look fresh at all! It was stated on the menu that it was market price. $75 for the seafood combo for 2. Maddie, the server , was very nice so eventhough we did not enjoy the food, we tipped her 20%. The fried food
