The Wolfsbarsch was prepared without lactose as desired and the bovine fillet medium well. On demand for a 45-minute waiting period, we were almost alone in the restaurant for how long the food still needs, we received the statement that the waiting period is at the cooking time of the beef fillet ????? . Instead of an apology for the long waiting period, the Lord held it behind the Thresen boss? not even necessary to say goodbye when leaving the restaurant. We were disproportionately disappointed and will in future prefer to visit other restaurants where we feel we are welcome as guests.
‘Birth-day dinner’ on 18.10.. Reservation in time from home. Conclusion: “taken surprise” as expected. Pleasant ambience, an expertly-competent and kind and attentive service and an outstandingly good food “offer from the table”. That's right. At the next Sylt visit definitely again....
We have been more often in the Old Zollhaus and are always thrilled. The service is incredibly nice, beautiful Christmas decoration invites you to stay and feel good. The food was excellent again. After the tasty bread with a beard hint, we had an excellent Vitello Tonnato and Burrata as well as a Bouillabaisse and giant cloves Asia Style . We like to come back.
In this charming restaurant we found not only excellent food, but also a warm atmosphere that perfectly matched our family evening. The staff welcomed us with open arms and made our visit an unforgettable experience. The chefs showed themselves extremely attentive by preparing special dishes for our little darlings, which they fed with enthusiasm. The quality of the dishes was first-class and the presentation was simply stunning. Every bite was a taste explosion that spoiled our palate. In short, an evening full of pleasure and hospitality. We can recommend this restaurant in full and look forward to our next visit!
Last time we were in the old customs house over ten years ago. This time, at the end of October/beginning of November we were allowed to sit outside (without reservation). You can really feel comfortable at the fresh temperatures there, despite radiators. We were compensated for by great food and good service. We will be happy to return, reserve but before!
