The Dining Room - Sir Stamford Hotel

High tea tried with my friend with my friend on Friday afternoon. It's not busy at that time, so the atmosphere was perfect to talk to my friend. The location is very convenient and the staff is very friendly. I'm sure I'll come back ~

Very disappointed by your service. We sat 20 minutes at our table, then the waiter finally came and confirm which packages were ordered online. 20 minutes later, the food arrived. During our time, the waiters and waitresses were not attentive. I had to put on my hands because I was for 5 minutes to make someone's attentive, and it was not even busy! The Wait staff was not professional at all, it seems like they just got the job. Although the service was terrible, I admit that her food was very nice, but I will never come back!

Located in the Sir Stamford Hotel in Circular Quay, I bought a voucher for 200 dollars for half price. If she went as a pair, she would probably get a 3-course meal with a glass of wine. With 3 persons, 2 courses. The atmosphere was very formal, which also reflected in service. My favorites were probably the pork smoker entrance and the Wagyu Steak. Soft blindable butter is a personal preference, so make it. Overall a little expensive, but it's worth it with discounts.

We dine here last night, using a coupon that gave us $200 to spend.  The food was all delicious and wonderfully presented. My wife had the wagyu steak and it was the most tender beef either of us have ever tried. I had the lamb and it was the most tender and most delicately flavoured lamb either of us have ever tried. The serving size for the steak was reasonable, but the amount of lamb was very small. The "king prawn and scallop" entree was barely enough for a taste. I've had more food served to me on a cracker. And it was $24. Admittedly it was extremely tasty, especially the sauce (or whatever you call it) that came with it.  I don't often get to eat this sort of quality and I suppose that for those who can afford it on a regular basis the value-for-money aspect is less of an issue, and they don't expect to end up so full they can barely move.  Our kids loved the overall experience and really enjoyed the hot chocolate and kids' meals and ice cream from the kids' menu. Most of the other patrons looked very much like "old money.
