Taste Baguette Met Center - Sydney

The coffee at Campos is fantastic, and they also offer delicious pastries. The baristas and service are top-notch. Be sure to try the pork baguette - it's a must!

There are several Taste locations throughout the city, and this one happens to be located in the amazing Met Center, which is fantastic because of its 2pm specials. If you find yourself having a late lunch, be sure to stop by Taste to see what rolls are on special (usually one-third of the price). Both times I have visited, the lemongrass beef roll was available, and it is incredibly delicious!

Service from the young English lady on the till was fab. Her smile would brighten up anybodys day! However the grumpy barista would turn anyones coffee sour! He definately would need to take a few tips from his colleague! I love this place however sometimes i am put off going here due to his rudeness! I think management need to re evaluate their staff.

The crispy pork belly rolls are absolutely delicious and worth trying.

If only the people running this conveniently sited café could get their act together this could be a winner ...on my partner's & my first morning on a recent visit to Sydney I chose this place because it was nearest our hotel & the room-rate didn't have breakfast included. Baguette looks good. The staff are as friendly as they are inefficient-& that's the trouble.I ordered the poached breakfast eggs with bacon on sourdough with two espresso doppio...for Au $29 50 (!WOW that's Sydney for you) that should've been outstanding. It was a disgrace..I only got ONE egg & the bacon had been fried to death & the toast was dry (no butter). Miffed I ate the food but went back to the counter & complained ..oh yes I WAS supposed to get two eggs & sorry about the bacon "were very busy you know"...well that's their business isn't it? Yeah...Busy in the AM of the CBD! I was given a second egg (dreadfully overcooked this time & now with PERFECT bacon! ) All over the shop! We never returned other than for the coffee.
