Sushi Train - Sydney

This is a national chain that offers the dependable experience you’d expect. The sushi selection isn’t very diverse, especially when it comes to premium items, so it’s better to order from the menu. I did that and received some cold tuna, but once it warmed up, it was quite good. I found the overall quality to be better than Sushi Wow down the street, and the prices are similar (plus they serve beer here). While it may not compete with the top places, it is a solid mid-range choice for dining in Newtown.

Excellent, tasty, and fresh sushi. Friendly and welcoming staff. Located in the heart of Newtown. Would recommend for all lovers of sushi. I will be back for more.

Good vibe, great ambience, very good customer service for a sushi bar. Variety of plates sometimes very repetitive. The rolls are great and fresh, nigiri and miso and edamame is lovely. Salmon sometimes better than others, the one located In Oxford street in Darlinghurst is better for flavour and variety but it doesn't have the same vibe at this one. What I love about this one, is easy, practical and fun. Is family oriented too, i believe this chain of restaurants is one of the best in Australia. I have tried a lot in here and this one is for me with other one I go regularly the best

This is an amazing restaurant with an extensive selection of options to choose from. I really enjoyed the grilled salmon, soft shell crab, and scallops. Everything is incredibly fresh and tasty. The staff is also very friendly.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The sushi train is located in the vibrant heart of Newtown, a trendy neighborhood full of energy. The sushi train experience felt genuinely authentic, likely because this is the original sushi train. Everything tasted fantastic, and the chefs were very friendly, engaging in cheerful conversations with guests, which added to the fun atmosphere.
