This restaurant is perfect for late-night eats, as it operates past midnight. The food is good, service is friendly and quick. Great for a big crowd.
Friendly staff and lovely deco. Most dishes are great but didn’t feel the prawn dumplings as appealing. $30 minimum spend
Wow. What a thick menu. So many choices! I'd Normally order one of everything but.. That's not really an option here, unless you're feeding an army. We went in as a group of 8. The food was scoffed up almost as quickly as it arrived. Everything we ordered: bbq pork buns, duck, pancakes all good! Grab a big round table upstairs.
Located in the heart of China Town Dixon street, Old Town is certainly easy to reach and quite convenient to get to. It can get quite busy especially on general Friday nights with a common 10/15min wait. Booking is available though so advice to book if you have a decent size group. The setting is quite big with 2 stories so a fair amount of seats. The one thing I guess I don 't like about the place is that seats are generally those long tables and hence with a group larger than 6 (which is my general dinner size), you might as well be on two tables rather than awkwardly isolating the few on the bookends. The one thing I really dislike though is not the seats, but the food portion. The food does taste decent. Though I won 't call it really 'HK ' style, I can 't generally fault it much; but man, the food portions are tiny! Given the price ain 't particularly cheap, this really make it a fairly expensive place for some not exactly spectacular food. Been there a dozen of times. I don 't think my perception of the place had improved a single bit. I still go there and I do think it 's a good enough option to go with friends, but no I won 't go there with just my fam. Not worth it.
