Mazaidar Foods - Sydney

The food at this restaurant was mostly delicious, but the lamb cutlets entree was disappointing. It was overpriced and the cutlets were small. The service was good. The decor of the restaurant could use an upgrade - the chairs had stains from wear and tear. Better lighting and artwork would improve the atmosphere.

This restaurant serves unexpectedly delicious food that pleasantly surprised us. The service was friendly and the overall dining experience was great. We started with sweethearts as appetizers, followed by the lambschaft nehari and dal tarka (chana lentils) for the main course. The pakora was perfectly seasoned with a nice kick and not greasy, the lambschaft fell off the bone with a delicious sauce, and the chana lentils were the best I've ever had. We ordered medium spice level, which was quite spicy for us, but we enjoyed it. This place definitely doesn't hold back on flavor! The quality of the food impressed us, putting it on par with high-end Indian restaurants. Days later, we are still thinking about the meal. We will definitely be returning.

I have visited this restaurant twice now and each time I have experienced very friendly service and exceptional food. The prices are reasonable and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
