Definitely one of...my favourite places in central Sydney and I can’t wait to come back.
This place Cleary don't care about customers..... The funny curly hair waiter in the entrance asked me for my proof of vaccination and I presented the paper copy plus my ID, and he didn't want to let me pass without the electronic certificate.... I'll not...coming back after this situation..
Actually came here to play a show with my punk band THE BLURTERS. On arrival I had a funny convo with the hilarious bouncer so got a good vibe instantly. I hadn’t been here since 2014 so wasn’t sure what to expect but it was...great. Late light rock n roll themed bar with a 3am finishing pizza bar. You can’t go wrong. Cool as vibe with loads of local rockers, punks, metal heads and drop ins. The bands great the royal treatment here, the staff are great and the pizzas YUM! Had the pepperoni and an Italian sausage pizza. The honey chilli on the pepperoni is genius! Great venue, cool as staff, great pizza. I suggest coming on Sunday nights and witnessing some local talent.
Went for a quiet drink on Wednesday night (26/5). Bouncer asked for ID. I asked (as a 50 year old) whether he thought I was under 18. He said “your mum is looking for you” to which I replied “she is deceased” and asked him...to apologise. To which he refused us entry. Please remove the idiots from your door.
Frankie’s Pizza’s vibrant entrance with vintage posters beckons diners to enter and discover something special. Straight away we were hit with the lively rock-and-roll music, classic pinball machines, colourful light in the dimly lit basement. It's almost surreal and supernatural. It reminds you of Stranger...Things. And the pizzas. They were scrumptious. Pick a simple, warm, hand-crafted Margarita slice, or have a bit out of every type of pizza. Or just order a massive pizza of your favourite flavour for sharing, or not. Who's serious about sharing? We came here during happy hour, with great deals for food and house drink. Frankie’s pizza is a cool spot and I recommend everybody to go and try it.
