This place is a real gem, offering everything from a casual café during the day to a restaurant at night. It boasts a wide selection of beers, wines, and spirits. The service is fantastic, and we will definitely be returning. Keep up the great work! Next time, we will come after work so we can enjoy a few drinks and some piadinas.
Found this recently opened event with a comfortable outdoor area, I thought only a coffee, but then I saw the delicious baked goods selection. had a chat with owner/cook adam who told me about the fresh baked goods every morning. speciality of the house. is the piadina, guck it. northern Italian clip, quality filling, not on a house made flat brot, low gi, dry fried on a flat grill and served easy to eat. great, but there is more. a tempting deli selection with homemade products and a clever weinlist. perfect for one after the work wind down and the coffee was excellent.
We stumbled upon Fold restaurant by chance and had a wonderful conversation with Adam, not to mention a delicious lunch. The atmosphere is relaxed with a communal table, as well as benches and stools by the window. The pastries on display looked amazing.
Initially, I was skeptical, but I was won over after my first visit. They offer over a dozen different types of piadinas, but one of my favorites is the one with salmon, brie, and arugula for lunch, and for brunch, I usually go for the one with prosciutto, arugula, tomato, and avocado. The piadinas are all beautifully balanced with unique flavors, and they also offer a variety of other baked goods that are absolutely delightful. Not only is the food outstanding, but the atmosphere is also great - it's bright and casual, and you can choose to sit at a large communal table or have your own individual table. The owner and chef are always present, paying attention to their customers, and the staff is professional and friendly, quickly getting to know your name. Overall, the dining experience is truly enjoyable and reminiscent of an Italian bar where you go not just for the food, but for the welcoming atmosphere and great service. The prices are also very reasonable - breakfast piadinas range from $8 to $10, while lunch options go from $10 to $13. I have tried many places in the area, but this one truly stands out as a welcoming addition to the neighborhood.
