City Extra - Sydney

Great view of the Harbour Bridge outside the cafe. The food however, was decent. I ordered the 'Healthy Breakfast' which included two poached eggs, salmon, steamed spinach and toast. It was satisfactory. My friend on the other hand really enjoyed her meal. That aside, the staff were nice and we were seated almost immediately after being greeted. The service was quite fast also.

This is the single worst meal I have had in my entire life. I'm 42 years of age. Surely that says something? I had a vege burger. I should have just eaten the table as I'm sure if would have had more flavour. My wife had the pulled pork burger and she complained about the lack of flavour too. We thought we would stick around for dessert however as I figured they surely couldn't screw up an apple crumble. My god, how wrong could I be. It was the only time I hoped for a food to have no flavour! I gave some to my wife and I'll never forget the look of disgust on her face. $86 later we left swearing to never go there again. Please don't make the mistake of going yourself. Please. There are plenty of other places around there to eat that are much better. Don't be drawn in to its "popularity" as I guarantee they're all tourists lining up and they'd never eat there again if they had a choice. I know we won't.

The food is decent. It's a good place to hang out if you're waiting for the ferry. The diner is open 24/7. The burger is great as well as the fish and chips..

Pretty much what I expected. If you're not expecting fine dining, you'll be fine, and the prices reflect that... All in all good atmosphere, relative good value for money food wise, but the coffee was literally undrinkable, and only one of 5 coffees in 25 years that I haven't finished... Having said that, another guest at our tables coffee, which was exactly the same, was quite nice. I would definitely return.

Very friendly staff and nice food well priced also I would go back again . Nice atmosphere perfect position right on the water reasonably priced.
