Chat Thai - Sydney

We visited the place on Wed evening and ordered a simple meal (2 dishes). One of the dishes came after a good 20 minutes wait, but the other one never came. We politely asked 2 waiters to check on our order and was told it was coming soon but it still it never came. After more than 45 minutes, we asked the waiter to cancel our order and explained our reason for cancelling. We received no apologies whatsoever! Have been a Chat Thai fan for some time, but this standard of service is just unbelievable. My family will not be coming in the future!

Amazing Thai food! Isn't too expensive when you order dishes to share and I would recommend that for sure. The curry was so good! Just wishing we had a few more people with us so that we could order more food!

Absolutely appaulling!! Starting with the service. Terrible!! The guy we had couldnt get anything right. His english was terrible which you may expect at a thai restaurant, but this was in the gateway of circular quay charging premium prices. There was no smile, my drink came out 45mins later after all the food was out and only after I had to ask for it again. At this point the cocktail must of been sittting there the entire time as it came almost immediately. And it was revolti@ng!! $18 for something i took only a took a sip of. (And no chance they would swop it for you cos the service is terrible remeber...) some other drinks we orderee werent whst we ordered. I ordered stirfry mudcrab without chilli.. It much more resembles an omlette with a tonne of chilli. The rest of the food was super salty. Spring rolls were not crispy. Duck tasted not fresh. The sesting was crammed and uncomfortable. And overall one of The most unenjoyanle meals ever with a hefty pricetag. Much better off eating at the foodcourt downstairs.
