Blackbird Cafe - Sydney

What a place! traveled from england and that was my first aussie restaurant/bar experience and I loved it. Amazing cocktails and pulsating party mood on a busy Friday night! Eating was great and I came back to the hotel with the best time! Many thanks.

The meal was good. A little two salty. Environment average but nice outlook. Service wasn’t great. Happy Hour was a bit of a con. Served the wrong beer, no wine. Waitress struggled with Wnglish and so shy

The family and I chose Blackbird as our choice for lunch today based on location, variety of food and cost. However, from the moment we sat down this is when the service started to decline very rapidly, all because we were directed to a table...which was NOT marked as being reserved, but according to other staff was supposed to have been put aside for other people, who supposedly did have a reservation in place. On two seperate occassions after sitting down and having already ordered our meals we were questioned by completely different staff (different to the waiter who first directed us to the table) if we had made a reservation and our answer was no. This didn't make us feel welcomed at all and almost put us in a position where all we wanted to do was just leave prior to receiving our meals! How rude! So in the end, despite hanging around for our meals, I felt for the poor waiter who offered the table to us in the first place (by the sounds of things he was fairly new to the team) because he would have been corrected over what he did, yet his service was really good from the start to the finish.

We came to the breakfast at the weekend note that it is not open until 9 o'clock. I had the big breakfast with rührei and gf toast. my man had eier benedikt with smoked salmon. it was a decent breakfast, served quickly. nothing special, but good. Skip...the coffee, but my man said it was terrible

Incredible service in blackbird caffe. all the meals arrived at our table within 10 minutes. drinks were on our table before we came back from the order. super nice and friendly staff. we recommend 110
