Cheap, yum, quick and pretty! This place ticks all the boxes for a quick lunch for me.
I was so looking forward to Betty's opening in Sydney based on all the photos on instagram I was hoping it would be like Shake Shack in the US.
Fly on the lettuce didn't give the best first impression. It was ok - but I wouldn't call it the best. Bun is to soft and ends up mushy before you can finish it. It was ok, but has there is better in Sydney I wouldn't bother going back. Chips average as well
I'm always keen to try new burger places so I was excited to finally try Betty's Burgers. The restaurant is situated near ICC Sydney in Darling Harbour and was only exclusive to Queensland before. After reading some rave reviews, I placed some high expectations on the food quality. Suffice to say, these expectations weren't met at all! I ordered the Betty's Classic Stack. It's a combo of Betty's Classic and Shroom Burger. Came with generous amounts of lettuce, cheese, Betty's special sauce, tomato and the beef and shroom patties. Together the flavours worked well, but after taking a few more bites, I was already sick of it. It was also way too messy to eat! Their shoestring fries with the special sauce on the side was average at best. They were too salty for my liking and they tasted similar to the fries at McDonald's. On to the positives: you get your food super fast and staff are really friendly and approachable. It also has a chill vibe to it with pretty decor to admire!
