Bar Tapavino - Sydney

Nestled in a little alley (as most of Sydneys treasures are) this place is great. Really good vibe, close to the action and a great selection of wine.

Wow, this tappas located next to the Marriott is a fantastic find. We ate outside under the warmth of propane lamps and feasted on outstanding tappas. We relied on the host to choose a wine and we were not disappointed. We originally selected four dishes but has to stop after three. Let me say that the spanish ham and bread, the potato crunchy, and bread with tomatoes was more than enough for the two of us. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting great tappas in an easy to get to location.

I went to Tapavino for a business lunch with some colleagues, the food was great- the service was not. We had the beef cheeks, artichoke and truffle dip with paprika chips, truffle chicken and chorizo. All were delicious. For dessert we had the dulce de Luca and the chocolate terrine. The dulce tart was amazing! But the terrine was very weird and most of us found the flavours bizarre and uncomplimentary.The only let down was the service. They weren't very friendly or attentive. We had to grab their attention a few times for dessert, more drinks and the bill. Although the food was great, we wouldn't rush to go again because the service was below average...

First time visiting this restaurant for lunch with a couple of my friends. The staff were very friendly and helpful in their suggestions on how to order as we hadn't been there before. The food was amazing! Great portion sizes and a good selection of options.Also located right near Circular Quay which was great to have a walk around after such a delicious meal. Will definitely be visiting again!

Met up with friends and ended up here. The service was excellent, the food was excellent, the ambience was excellent, starters, mains and pudding were all very special. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant to others...
