Matteo Downtown - Sydney (NSW)

Atmosphere was incredible really hip, trendy and with the times. Food was simple Italian food but done well ! And finally a Italian restaurant that uses guanciale and the proper methods to make a traditional carbonara.

Food was delicious, atmosphere was great and the staff were super friendly. Went there with a group of friends on a Thursday night for dinner and again just for some specially created cocktails and yummy pizza. Especially loved the Gnocchi dish and the desserts, Basil Lime ice cream and the Tiramisu even impressed my Italian friends. Would definitely recommend and will go again.

Service was fantastic and the food is always great here, the blue swimmer crab pasta is a must!

The restaurant was very busy during weekday lunch time so it took a little while before we could get the staff’s attention to take food/drink orders. Food was delicious and well portioned, great spot for a business lunch.
