Tim Hortons - Sydney

I asked for a grilled bagel and they gave me a toasted even thought I specifically asked. I brushed off this incident since I can understand mistakes in the machine. The second time I come I ask for the same thing, making sure they put grilled instead of toasted into the machine. They do and I'm content knowing i'll get a good bagel. Once again... toasted. I go up and ask for it grilled instead and the worker rolls their eyes. They take a very long time to make a new bagel and when I get it, it's only been grilled for a second only on the outside. Very disappointed. Why can Tim Hortons never fulfill my order. Don't ever expect me to be coming back.

I have had terrible service on a few occasions. 1 time my tea was foul tasting and i returned to the location for a fresh tea and was informed that tea was suppose to be disgusting . Tonight I ordered a meal #7 the chicken bacon ranch wrap, with coffee and wedges) and got to the window to get a delicious wrap well made and very tasty), an actual good cup of coffee fresh)....but no wedges....asked and was told the girl only rang in the coffee and wrap...ugh....really that is not what i ordered. Frustrated i said OK. The terrible thing was the staff the international staff seemed to be not paying attention while the local staff were picking up the slack and apologizing....again. ugh! My complaint is international staff! It was an international staff that also told me very rudely that my tea was suppose to taste bad and often i observe this location struggling with so many young international staff that maybe the management can think about a stronger training session for them. Ugh!

It was a dark and stormy night. The streets were dark and slippery and in the distance, I could see the neon Tim Hortons Always Fresh sign. My God, was that sign ever wrong. I made my way to the establishment and waited in the ever growing line of disgruntled Capers, all wanting to warm up from the cold. I ordered a chili for here and waited patiently, removing my gloves and jacket. I received my chili on a silver platter. Now let me just tell you what was on this platter. Chili, in a TO GO cup, butter, and a knife. No bread. No spoon. I was rabid. I asked the woman behind the counter for a spoon and she sheepishly hands over not a metal spoon, but a PLASTIC spoon. The chili was delicious but that is besides the point. Never again will I make the same mistake I made that chilly night. Never again.

Living in Sydney doesn 't exactly give you the opportunity to be picky about your selection in coffee spots but I just have to talk about this place. I can 't even tell you how many times I 've been late for work simply because it 's taken me a good 20 minutes to get served whether it 's in the drive-thru or at the counter. They must have at least 15 people at one time working behind the counter at this location but no matter when you go in, 6 am, 10 am, 10 pm.... they 're always extremely disorganized and somewhat confused if you order anything other than a double-double . The staff is nice enough, but that 's to be expected in Cape Breton but when it comes to coffee, I just want it fast and I want it right.... and 8 times out of 10, it is not. 3 out of those 10 times their debit machines don 't work and for an establishment that sees about half the population of downtown Sydney in the run of a day, this is some major business they 're losing and will continue to lose if they don 't get their act together. I do really hope they improve... and I also hope they stop asking if I want my Green Tea black ....

I just returned home from Tim hortons on George st and surprise surprise my order is wrong but atleast they were nice enough to give me everything I told them I didn 't not want seriously how hard is it to get coffee and donuts right ? Not very apparently it is an issue they have there their new slogan should be Tim hortons where you pay for what you want and get what you don 't want this place is constantly screwing up orders and it 's constantly over staffed and it still takes forever to get served and when you do get served most of the time it is wrong this place sucks it 's to bad they have everybody brainwashed that you need to have a cup of coffee in their hands to be able to drive the car I wish somebody would build a place that served coffee and donuts and put that place out of business probably never happen but wishful thinking.
