A & K Lick-A-Chick - LITTLE BRAS D'OR

I've had their chicken a few years ago and it was good. This time we got Chicken Fingers, fries and taters. The fries are crinkle cut and aren't house made. Your kids will like them. You however are an adult and NEED these taters. They are chunks of hand cut potato tossed and lightly battered in their chicken spices. They are crispy and oh so good. even cold! Here's where I'll get a lot of Caper backlash I fear. The Chicken fingers. They are hand cut and breaded perfectly. But...they are so salty they will be inedible for most people. I'm going to guess that if you love salt, you can handle one maybe two at best. They have potential but way too salty for us and our kids. But those taters...we'll be back for them!

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. We loved the chicken and it is so much better then KFC. This is a must if you are North Sidney catching the ferry to NL. We are returning on our way back from NL. Yummy.

Always on my list .The smell is delicious and so is the taste .This chicken is very salty , so if blood pressure is a issue .Moderation !,

There's nothing heart smart on the menu at Lick a Chick and a few hours later you might hate yourself but if you enjoy salty deep fried chicken, A

This restaurant is small and their food is very similar to KFC only saltier....they have ample parking and their service is cafeteria style.
