Satto Sushi - Swiftwater

The food was excellent. We had some sushi, the glazed salmon, edemame, dumpling, Yaki udon, kimchi jigae, bulgogi, and I am sure I am missing something? The salmon had this amazing crunchy coating under the glazed that was incredible, and everything was fresh. The building is a very old tavern with random, idiosyncratic decor and a ton of character. Great, friendly service.

We decided to try this place while on vacation and were very happy with our meal! The decor was more rustic and at first we were unsure, when the food came not only was it fast and affordable but it was so delicious! This being said we eat sushi almost weekly at home and are spoiled by some really good fresh fish so we are by no means unfamiliar with good sushi. I would say if you are in the area, make the stop!

This place is not an authentic Korean foods place. But can’t complain about the taste tho. Not too expensive and good portion of foods you will get. They need to practice to make a better tteokbokki. And Yookgyejang, missing a lot of authentic ingredients.. dissatisfied.

The seaweed salad was the perfect size and slices of cucumber were a nice touch. Exactly what I was craving. The beef bone soup was white and full bodied. Very refreshing and mild in flavor. I’d crave that if I wasn’t feeling well and needed some TLC. The rice cake with cheese and seafood was spicy and zingy and unctuous and was both of ours favorite! Also, what topped it all off for me was what happened after they forgot the rice for one of the dishes. I went back in and they said they’re so happy I did and to please let them know if anything is ever forgotten again. I wasn’t even going to mention it ‘cause it really wasn’t a big deal, but the girl at the front was So sweet about it and So quick to get it without even questioning me. She just had such a good attitude I had to write about it.

I was very impressed with the authenticity of the food, where there's no way the chef wasn't Korean. the flavours were perfect and portions were there. if I ever come back here, I'll be dining here again.
