We visited this restaurant during a two-hour window, and we were the only customers for most of that time, which surprised me given how fantastic the food was. The meat was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The brisket was so tender that I could have used a spoon to scoop it off the plate. The ribs were perfectly cooked—delicate yet with a slight char, making them succulent. The slaw was sliced rather than chopped and had just the right amount of spice. My dining companions were very pleased with the smoked macaroni and cheese. There was a nice selection of sauces, both sweet and spicy, but the portion sizes were just right, so we had nothing left to take home.
The prompt and friendly service, along with the lovely outdoor seating, made for an excellent experience. The food was enjoyable, including chicken BBQ sandwiches, potato salad, smoked mac and cheese, and a pork platter. The vinegar-based sauce was sweet with a nice kick to it.
I highly recommend this restaurant! The meat was incredibly tender and juicy. The prices were reasonable as well. The side dishes were delicious, especially the claws, borons, and potato salad. Next time, we'll be ordering the opposite!
This place is a hidden gem! The service was incredibly quick and efficient. The food was both simple and outstanding! The prices were reasonable and matched the portion sizes perfectly. The decor and atmosphere were fantastic as well. I highly recommend it. When I left, I noticed there was no one else dining there, and I can't understand why!
The food was really disappointing. My wife ordered takeout from Jack's BBQ, and it was a letdown. The BBQ tasted like chili, the macaroni was terrible, and the pulled pork was dry. I live less than five minutes away, yet the food arrived cold. We won't be returning; the pulled pork platter was just awful.
