The food is very good. Very nice Christian business. Always greeted with a smile. Yes the food can be little pricey here but when you do business with them you are supporting a local business as well as supporting some very sweet people. I love the chicken and sausage with green beans and dirty rice. It is some of the greatest BBQ soul food around. So stop on in and give them a try folks, you'll most likely be wanting to come back for more.

Once again, in our travels, we have found that those hole in the wall mom and pop restaurants are the best!! Lue Ella 's Old Fashioned BBQ has the best homemade food I have ever tasted. Although we ordered the chicken fried steak and hamburger steak lunch plates, the green beans had sliced brisket bits in it which added to that distinct taste. I highly recommend Lue Ella 's Old Fashioned BBQ if you 're in this small town of Sweeny, Texas.

One word: Phenomenal!!!! My sister and I and our brother-in-law ate there on a whim. My sister and I are not from Texas so we tried the boudin balls for the first time. Delicious!! We had fried pickles which were wonderful. I had baked potato with chicken BBQ that melted in your mouth. Both ladies we talked to were super nice and very kind answering all our questions about what is a boudin ball and how to eat it. Next time I hope to try the banana pudding! Make sure you eat there.
