I would like to thank Rebecca for her service today, she was extremely attentive to us and our 3 babies and very polite and friendly, what a lovely young lady

Called in for lunch on 27th Feb. Easy to park. Despite only two tables being occupied and plenty being available, it took a while for the one staff member present to show us to a table. Steak ale pie tasty but pastry very soggy, tuna mayo jacket underwhelming.

I had the ultimate veggie burger, which was really very nice. It came with a large plate of fries. I was a bit jealous of the others with me because they got chunky chips and they were really nice. My fries were rock hard. With no exaggeration, I can say it felt like I was eating twigs. Very tasty twigs mind you, but they hurt. The inside of my mouth was battered at the end of the meal. The tasty burger, which didn't try to be like meat, made up for the chips. A reasonable price, very quick service and overall lovely food. I will go back soon and would happily order the same. I would just be careful to ask them not to make the fries so crunchy that it hurts to eat them.

Food was good portion sizes excellent. Staff were very good.
