Authentic Indonesian cuisine best. everything we had was delicious, really recommend the rendang. it's all pretty sharp, but it's as I like it. will definitely return.

We had the pleasure of eating here on Saturday. excellent service of gareth and peter and wonderful eating of ani. all our party enjoyed: everything was delicious. garuda is consistently brilliant.

Small restaurant in main street. Parking not easy, look for a side street near by. Friendly atmosphere, welcomed by the owners. Basic table and chairs for customers too. It's not licenced so don't forget to bring your own! Food was hot and tasty (pre order!! I'd ask for medium hot dish, but it fell short I'm afraid. Rice was nice. Beautiful food. Incredible vegetarian dishes. Homely relaxed feel. Byo is a big plus too but honestly it's the food that you should go for. We've been going to Garuda for years and Ani never disappoints Vegetarian options: Delicious. Not an afterthought or poor cousin like a lot of restaurants.
