Surry Hills Eating House

I was pretty surprised by the good quality. The entry is a bit Dodgy, but as soon as you are in his fine. The food was different from what you get in most Thai restaurants. It was very well combined with aromas and the spice was well adapted to the western palate. Definitely a good surprise

Order a bottle of wine with dinner, accepted, we would be okay to finish it. The staff kicked us out of the restaurant when the kitchen was closed in the sports bar on the ground floor. Worst experience. Constant Chanting and Screvening. Do not sell the wine in bottles if you do not help the customer to finish it to finish it. Worst Restaurant Experience until today.

This morning I woke up and declared 2015 the year of good foodNo Maccas, dirty bird or crummy Chinese takeaway.

This by far the BEST Thai restaurant I have ever been to.

Having heard good things about the Spice I Am' chain of restaurants, decided to try Surry Hills Eating House on a Friday night after work.The restaurant has a nice quiet ambiance, very different from the busy vibe of Surry Hills.The food had nice flavours and was well balanced.Unfortunately the pricing was a bit dear. Drinks were and you were only given a small glass.We ordered Pad Prik King Moo Grob' crispy pork belly with red curry paste, green beans, chilli and maggot lime leaves. The cost was so we expected a decently sized plate, but we were disappointed.Better options elsewhere, go to Home Thai or Satang Thai for cheaper food, or Chat Thai for better food at similar prices.
