Went to Nomad for the first time tonight and I'm so annoyed I hadn't discovered it before! Delicious food and great ambience. My new favourite dinner spot. The whipped ricotta is divine! I'll be back !
Amazing restaurant !!! All the dishes are incredible and interesting s Been here countless time and there is always new to order and none of the dishes have ever disappointed. Even dishes I wouldn't gravitate towards usually - I am mind blown
In our opinions, Nomad is a humble hidden gem. It is perhaps our favourite restaurant in Sydney. Outstanding dishes: 1. Delicately fried crispy zucchini flowers dusted generously with salty pecorino and glazed with pungent truffled honey. This dish is texturally architectured with the crispy zucchini and soft pecorino dustings. 2. Spiced wagyu tartare with fried eschallots and chickpeas that provides a surprising crunch and body to the tartare. 3. Refreshingly light kingfish ceviche. The finger lime and avocado really enhanced the freshness of the fish, the coriander cracker was the perfect carrier to bind this dish together. 4. Spatchcock with harissa. We were blown away by the tenderness and the flavour that this little bird could deliver. This is perhaps our favourite main meat dish in Sydney. 5. Slightly tangy, this spiced cauliflower contrasted so well with the luxuriously strained labne. We have a slight obsession with cauliflower, this is the greatest contender to our other great cauliflower love from Kepos and Co's. 6. Ice cream sandwich. An absolutely stunning dessert, we loved the simple subtle flavour of the olive oil parfait. Underwhelming dishes: 1. Wood roasted pork. I am not at all particular of the 'swine smell', however, there was an offensive porky smell that was hard to ignore and completely ruined the dish. Their deliverance of tantalisingly delicious, visually enticing food has seen us return multiple times. It is a place we bring our loved ones to bond over great food.
