They have a killer "monster Parma" which is really big and takes a bit to eat the whole lot! They have a great selection of white wines - which wins me over anywhere I go! My favourite thing? They utilise the Clipp App! Look it up in your App Store and use "TREQA" for your first promo code to get $10 off your first bar tab! It's cashless, and I love that K&B support it!!!
Arguably one of the biggest responsibilties of a food junkie is when handed the reigns to decide where to eat. These reigns become heavier when accompanied with the dreaded words "I'm fine with whatever" and clearly you know that's not the case. Being frequent café brunch eaters, and for novelty sake, tonight this foodie decided to take her friend for some good ole pub food. Suffice to say Keg & Brew did not disappoint. Going against my tendency to order white meats, I ordered the lean rump steak medium rare with sweet potato wedges. The sweet potato wedges were absolutely amazing! The biggest problem I've had with most sweet potato wedges is the mushiness and lack of crunch. The ones here were very good. The steak was also cooked exceptionally well and compared to the other notable times I've ordered steak (Olivos and Pancakes on the Rocks) this experience was far better and cheaper too! On their Tuesdays the rump steak would have been $9.90. While I paid $15 for the steak and $4 for the sweet potato upgrade, it was still very good value. My friend ordered the lobster and slaw burger and thought it was good, however the lobster did carry a processed taste and the burger was quite a heavy one with a touch too much mayonnaise. Not being a drinker of beer I was quite indifferent to the Byron Bay Beer which had been recommended by the bartender for its fruity top note. Such a shame since Key & Brew are famously known for there 30+ brews on tap. As for the ambience, don't come here if you want to hold detailed conversations. It's quite hard to hear over the background noise. However the dim lighting does create a relaxing environment to unwind at the end of the day.

Oh my, Lobster Roll! Lobster, slaw radish, Japanese mayo and poppy seeds on a soft milk bun with a side of shoestring fries. Thoroughly enjoyed this! I have walked past the Keg & Brew so many times and have never popped in. Glad I finally did, and I'll definitely be back! Lots of great daily food specials in a cosy laid back pub just near Central station. msjayemm.com
A short walk from Central station, Keg & Brew is a small pub that boasts a massive number of craft beers on tap - approximately 30 so chances are there is a brew you haven't yet tried. They also have a pretty varied food menu to match your beers with if your hungry. We grabbed a bowl of wedges which were delivered extra crispy as requested - a nice indicator of attention to detail from the bar staff. We will be back to make it through the list of beers on tap at Keg & Brew eatventures.net
