So glad that I finally tried this caffe! unique yet beautiful Malaysian aromas and ingredients made to interesting breakfast and lunch charries. the black french French toast was really delicious, although the Cuban sandwich was a dry ted. will definitely come back and try other elements on the menu!
They love the kajak with eggs! very authentic. I was looking for a good Kaaya toast here in sydney and finally found it. the price is not bad either.
Cafe rumah offers a pretty cool concept: coffee, Malaysian tasty bites and great men's clothes, which I had a few coffees here before I finally tried one of their tasty. my god: what did I miss? they made the madeleines at the place, freshly baked for them, and then some cocosn nuts jam, kawa, in the middle piped. for full blog post, check out: andyquan.com/coffee-in-sydney-cafe-rumah
The Tiny Fish says: Delicious, inventive Malay-inspired menu in a bright, cosy setting in Surry Hills Food: Absolutely stunning. My prawn toast was crispy on the outside and billowy on the inside, while the congee was tasty and warming. The fresh madeleines are made upon order, and the kaya jam is a divine accompaniment. Big portion sizes. Service: Sweet as a peach. Atmosphere: natural light warms the minimal, cosy space Check out full details on the blog: thetinyfish.com/epicurean/2017/7/18/cafe-rumah
