I had the lamb and mushroom ravioli and it was easily the best ravioli I have ever had! I'd love to come back and try more of the menu!
Cafe Mint is one of the more unique cafes around because they offer authentic Middle Eastern breakfast and lunch. I tried the kuneffeh and mango lassi. They were awesome and immediately transported me to my trip at Jerusalem and Petra a few years ago. Beware of pleasant surprises hiding at every bite of the kuneffeh!
What a delicious and interesting place to come for Sunday breakfast! Breakfast with a middle eastern twist! Ordered the Hummus Plus (w spiced chickpeas, roast pumpkin, spinach and dates $16.90), Baked eggs with chackchouka (w added feta and eggplant $16.90), and the Baked eggs, beans and sucuk (turkish style beef chorizo w added bacon and avocado$16.90 + $7.60) All dishes came with tasty Turkish toast! Amazing flavours, friendly service and outstanding coffee! Plenty of vegan options too!
Cafe Mint is a lovely cafe with friendly staff. We came here for breakfast and ordered their Baked eggs, beans and chucuk ($16.9) and Baked eggs with chakchouka (with eggplant and feta) ($18.90). Both the meals were warm and extremely delicious (the baked eggs, beans and chucuk being our favourite) and we'll be sure to return soon!
The beef cheeks were the highlight of my meal. So much flavour in the sauce. The ravioli with mushrooms and lamb mince were quite enjoyable too. Haloumi chips were not as exciting as it sounded but still enjoyable. The charred eggplant was soft and smokey. Nice but quite small for the price. Mezza plate was enjoyable with its 3 dips and crisp bread. Wasn't enough bread though for the amount of dip and had to order Turkish bread to use up remaining dip. My fellow diners all had dessert as they were keen on the mastic which came in chocolate cinnamon and Turkish delight. I tried a spoonful but was not a fan of the flavours nor the texture of the ice cream. I prefer my ice cream a lot smoother but was fun to try.
