Prado Cafe - Surrey

Prado Cafe is located in the Civic Hotel, which makes it a convenient choice. They have a decent range of hot drinks, but the selection of baked goods could be improved. The service was okay, but the latte art didn't stand out, and my cup was filled to the brim. I ended up spending $9 on a small matcha and a slice of banana bread. If you're planning to work on your computer, this might not be the ideal location since there are few power outlets in the seating area—I only noticed one by a high table in the back.

Regarding vegetarian options, I wish there were more affordable sandwich choices available. Currently, there are only two options, and both cost around $10.

Prado has quickly become one of my favorite cafes in the Vancouver area. Every cup of coffee I've had there has been excellent. Recently, I met a couple of friends at their location near Surrey Central, which I recommended, and they both loved it. I ordered a large vanilla latte to enjoy on-site, while they chose to take theirs to go. I hope they weren't charged extra for that! We had a wonderful time chatting over our delicious lattes and flat whites. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the cafe was very clean. While they previously had limited seating, there is now plenty of room. My only suggestion would be to create a slightly warmer ambiance. The staff were friendly, but there's definitely room for improvement in that area.

The café has a lovely atmosphere, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. I had a buttery croissant and a grilled cheese sandwich, along with a London Fog and English breakfast tea. Everything was tasty, and the sandwich was packed with cheese!

The coffee shop located in the lobby of The Civic Hotel is a real gem. The espresso was exceptional, and I thoroughly enjoyed a delightful cortado. I also love the design of the lobby, which provides numerous cozy areas for chatting, working, or catching up with friends.
