KFC - Surrey

Eat here rarely as the chicken quality is only average and the prices are quite expensive for what you get! Not a place for fine dining,but the product has become more greasy over time and not great healthy eating. Service has always been slow.

I stopped by to buy a couple Tuesday specials and noticed the menu has changed a lot since the last time I set foot into a KFC.

Out of nostalgia, we took our children here intending to have dinner in the restaurant. Upon entering the store, we quickly changed our minds. Every single table was dirty, not having been cleaned after someone else had eaten there. We stood at the counter for some time before being served. The entire experience was offputting. The chicken did taste as we remembered and the kids liked it, but we won't return.

This place is overpriced, untidy and employees just don't care. When I arrived, the employees were chatting behind the counter, ignoring me. I waited, then finally asked if I could please interrupt to place my order. I asked if it was still Tooney Tuesday. Employee assured me that it was but I was surprised to see my dinner was $3.29, not $2.00. The signage for this change was not visible at the counter. All the available tables needed clearing and/or wiping. I had to request that a table be wiped and cleared. Table adjoining our table appeared to have dried blood running along the length of it. Manager explained that it was a bad paint job, not blood. Finally, the chicken was greasy, overpriced, undersized and totally lacking flavour.

I have been here a few times for lunch - usually on a Tuesday, when they have a 2-piece and fries special price. Satisfactory and up to KFC standard
