Aomori Sushi - Surrey

Not sure how this place got 4.5 stars? I had take out from here yesterday. Ordered three rolls between two people. All rolls consisted of a LOT of rice and barely any filling. Tuna slices on top of one of the $13 rolls was very thin and small. Lots of crumb topping on another roll to hide the lack of sushi. Friendly counter person, but terrible food and terrible value for your money. Go elsewhere.

I just had this last night and woke up sick. The sushi was not good quaility at all. Looked like the fish was slapped on top of the sushi and sitting there for hours. Do NOT recommend.

Tried this place last week and the cut on the sashimi was nice, toro was fairly tasty as well. A little pricey but will be my new local fav for now. Definitely recommend.

Sushi is good. Bad to put in the refrigerator. Their rice compared to other restaurants do not do well in the fridge. Gets all hard. Cannot eat it after one day in the cold fridge. never ever fridge.

The best sushi, it's always fresh and the special rolls are delicious! My go-to. The staff is also amazing, their service is great and they are super friendly :
