Lido And The Champagne Bar At The Surf Club

A wonderful restaurant in perfect location. be prepared for an expensive meal, but one that is definitely worth the price.

I was not blown away from everything that was the super cooled salate, half dozens of oysters, lasagne and sea bass. Hubby thinks we might have ordered us badly, but for a $200 meal something should have been delicious. not sure we're coming back.

Food was great. Not sure it is worthy of a Micheline Star.

Oh I wanted to LOVE this place..and honestly it was very good. The food was definitely 5 star. Unfortunately the service wasn't there. It was very good...but definitely not the level that one would expect for a $600 dinner for two.The dover sole was excellent as well as the Caesar salad. I don't think I understood what all the fuss is about the ice cream sundae...it was good but nothing too special IMO. The service seemed overwhelmed..maybe just a tough evening when we were there. Beautiful restaurant for sure...glad we went but probably once and done.

This is one of my favorite places. Food is excellent, friendly staff and fast service.
