Mesamar - Coral Gables

Visited restaurant for the Miami Spice promotion. The fried calamari were overcooked. The branzino was spectacular. The flan was just ok would have been nice to have offered something a little more special to showcase the restaurant for future visit. Flan is on the menu even at the most common and humble restaurants and ventanitas. The garnish used to decorate the main course plates was old and wilted better not to use it on the plates!

When visiting different restaurants during Miami Spice months, we've come across restaurants that serve small portions or don't provide the level of service that one would encounter when ordering off of the regular menu. That is definitely not the case at Mesamar! The choices on the Spice were outstanding and the portions were plentiful and delicious! The service was outstanding and the entire experience was wonderful! Thank you to our server, Wendy for making my friend's birthday very special!!

Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The Miami Spice Menu was exquisite. Hands down, some of the best food I've had recently!

Beautiful setting, friendly and helpful staff, convenient location, accessible parking, but most importantly, yummy food! Portions were very generous and well presented. Plan to come back soon!

Delicious seafood and great service! We have dined here several times and always enjoyed!
