Topsail Steamer - Surf City

This was by far one of the best places we visited on the island. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. I'm vegan and the girl helped me make a vegan steamer pot!!!! I was so excited. My boy is a real carnivore and he loved all the options for his steam boiler. Give them a try You will thank me later!!

Fantastic concept and perfect execution by this team. We were just looking for a great seafood option. This place appeared with great reviews. I expected a restaurant and got something better! For someone who lives somewhere nearby, this should be the first stop where you drive. They went through the different bucket setups, provided detailed instructions (easy!) and options for spices. I chose the crabs and shrimps and went with the bucket, instructions and paper. That wasn't planned, and we just went through. Luckily we had a stove and a little time to burn. The helpful staff even gave a tip to park around the corner. We parked after 6P in a public lot and had to pay no fee. We spent the food to cook our steamer, hear the waves and had an amazing experience! If you have the opportunity to spend some time cooking a simple option, this should be on your must-stop/do list every time you go to the OBX range. It will be safe for us:

Love this place!! You fit your bucket (which you simply add beer or water and put on the stove) if you do not want one of the ones that they have already assembled. The spices are taste-specific (the type of Jimmy taste) and extra sauces are given for diving. Buckets are joined with your selections, given instructions (both verbally and written). The owner was about to explain and give suggestions. Follow the instructions and you will enjoy your own steam boiler in less than an hour!

Yes fresh hot butter. That's what we want when we get to the beach. Super fresh seafood and many of them. For 3 of us, we have 5 crabs (meat so sweet), 2 lobster tails (so sweet and tender, I could have eaten 7 more), a bucket of shrimps, mussels, corn, potatoes, sausage and maize bread. Tons of melted butter. We're full. We're happy. You could be!

We vacation in surf city at least once a year and we always have to have the steamer as one of our dinners! Super easy to build your own with simple cooking instructions. Their Seafood was fresh and the flavor was great! Took ours back to the room at surf condos and had an amazing dinner with an incredible view. Highly recommend
