Sears Landing - Surf City

The wait was long, which we anticipated, but it ended up being much longer than the time we were quoted when we arrived. There were many open tables, yet we were informed that they were understaffed and couldn’t seat anyone else until more waitstaff arrived.

I share the same sentiments about this restaurant. The food is awful, especially considering the prices. The waitress always seems to be in a foul mood, and the fish certainly doesn’t taste fresh, despite being close to the water. To top it all off, they’ve removed the son from the picture, but the place is still quite disappointing. If I could, I would rate it with zero stars. I heard they are temporarily closed this winter for renovations. I hope they’re making improvements to the food and bringing in a new chef!

The food here is excellent, the omelets are fantastic, and it's easily the best place to eat in Surf City.

My family and I had a great dining experience at Sears Landing. I had the grilled shrimp, scallops and tuna. The fruit was fresh and wonderful! It overlooks the water and has a nice atmosphere!

What a difference a year makes. Last year(08), a good value with good food. This year... terrible.
