Sunshine Social - Sunshine West

Love love love Sunshine Social! We order from here regularly to get our fix of the delicious food on offer. The burgers are my personal favourites, but a big shout-out to the freekeh salad which is to die for! Beautiful atmosphere, super-friendly staff and great service. It's the best in the west!

We had my daughter 's baptism celebration here on November 11 and the service was absolutely superb. This post comes a little late but my husband and I are so grateful to the staff for a wonderful day. From the seating arrangement in the courtyard (We had a party of 40 and two lots of two tables were arranged so that all my guests could comfortably speak to one another), to the discussions about the menu prior to the event, the flexibility of the chef, the welcoming nature of all of the staff and of course, affordability everything was great! The food was amazing..We organised for everyone to have the 'Just Feed Us ' from the menu and was surprised to see the amount of food that came out. It seemed endless really. We ended up taking a lot of the food home and had a feast over two days! My personal favorite was the squid and pork ribs. A lot of my guests enjoyed the sunshine social plate and my mum absolutely loved the chips. Each one of my guest had a wonderful time. The kids also enjoyed the cubby house with all of its tools and gadgets. Downside to that is they just wouldn 't stop playing to eat their food. Thanks Sunshine Social! I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday. The management and staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The food was superb, with the best chips in Melbourne. The retro decor was lovely and the value for money was great. There was ample parking and the service was quick. The courtyard dining option was awesome. I couldn't find any faults with this place.

Just stopped by to check it out and I loved it. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had the $10 chicken, tomato and white-bean stew served with turkish bread and it was delicious! The atmosphere is relaxed and it is great to see how they have transformed it from a run-down, old petrol station to a new, trendy restaurant. I will recommend it for sure :

The food is amazing, the atmosphere is perfect, the service is excellent, and there are great activities for kids outside. I love this place.
