Roberto's River Road - Sunshine

I usually first judge a seafood restaurant by its fried seafood platter. It has a good variety but most importantly it has a good seasoning. First the gumbo was very good. I'll get a bowl next time. The oysters and the softshell crab were a little on the small side but very tasty. A classic river road experience. I would say go give this little out of the way place a try. We drove thirty minutes out of the city to dine here. Very old building with lots of charm. Nicely presented Cajun meals and great flavor and quality. The staff was warm and quick. No wait to get in Friday for lunch.
