Ruth's Chris Steak House - Baton Rouge

The experience was amazing and the staff ensured a wonderful night. Although there was a small error with a request, the manager quickly corrected the problem and we were very remarkable. The birthday boy really enjoyed himself and we hope to come back very soon!

I have been to multiple locations Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Texas, etc. This location has the best overall service, food presentation and taste. I enjoy coming to this one each time. It doesn’t disappoint. One of the real prime meat fine dining restaurants in BR.

Presidential treatment every-time I enter the building …. I recommend this fancy upscale restaurant for anyone who needs a up tick the to morale or just a overall good night on the town if you’re willing to splurge on the middle -big bucks depending on how your feeling for the night … go big or don’t go at all as I would say … the drinks are to perfection …. Atmosphere is to astronomical highs … 20/10 recommendations as the every experience is out of this world

I have finally eaten at all of the fancy steak places I know of. Ruth’s, Sullivans, Buddys (Hammond , Flemings. Ruth’s was slightly more expensive than Flemings, but not by much. I ordered the ribeye at all of them for scientific research purposes. Food wise, Ruth’s has the best steaks, Flemings the best sides, and Buddy’s the best overall (it is by far the cheapest . The table bread was awesome. Steaks were cooked 100% perfectly, which is hard to get because medium means something different everywhere you go. I ordered the ribeye and my girl ordered the New York strip. The ribeye was better than the other three places ribeyes. My girl didn’t care for the New York strip, she said it was very salty. I didn’t notice, but the ribeye was definitely better. The salads were great. I ordered the chopped and my girl the Caesar. Both were great, and the chopped presentation was very unique. The sides were pretty disappointing. We ordered mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and broiled tomato. The tomato must have had sugar on it, it tasted like ketchup. The creamed spinach was bland, and the mashed potatoes tasted homemade (which is good for $3 side, but for a fancy steak place at $10 it needs to be otherworldly . Gave my girl a cheesecake since we were celebrating her birthday. Probably the best cheesecake we have had. Overall a fantastic experience. Our waitress Diamond was excellent and friendly. The water glasses did not get less than half full (or empty? . Bathrooms were immaculate.

I had a great dinner for kids tonight. The service was top notch! Diamond our waitress was attentive without going overboard, and gave us a lot of time to make an entree choice after getting the appetizer (which is rare in most restaurants). The food is worth the cost. I got the special (two 4 ounces of fillet with lumps of crab meat and an imperial sauce) was amazing. Wife had a petite 8oz fillet both were cooked for perfection. Pages: Brussels sprouts cooked in bacon and honey. The sweet potatoes were like a dessert they were so good. Everything in a great dinner. Only criticism can I think that with a little closed areas to make the dining room, private might be nicer. But that will not prevent us from coming back. Will definitely be back!
