Bento Express - Sunnyvale

This restaurant offers some of the most authentic Taiwanese cuisine in the area. The variety of side dishes is impressive, featuring vegetables, bean curds, and, if you're fortunate, sweet-and-sour chicken—all included with the bento box price. You also have the option to replace the rice with an additional side for just $1 or $2. Although prices have risen significantly in recent years, making it less frequent for us to visit, it remains one of my favorite spots.

Authentic Taiwanese bento boxes with generous portion sizes at great prices. Expect to see lines during meal times, but they move swiftly. Overall, I would rate the food a solid 4 out of 5.

I’m so glad I found this place! They have the best Taiwanese bentos I’ve had so far in the US. Hope they open one in LA.

Used to be very Taiwanese style, plain, a bit sweet and not salty. Not any more now in my opinion. I bought one today and found out every dishes are salty and greasy. No Taiwanese style at all.
